September 2026 in review

Naumburg becomes the demo region, the road editor grows into a construction kit, and the Naumburg demo is with Steam for review.

September was all about Naumburg: a compact test map turned into a playable region with trams, buses and a main station where rail, bus and passengers meet. At the same time the road editor grew from a drawing tool into a construction kit for whole streets and junctions. At the end of the month the Naumburg demo was submitted to Steam.

Good to know: a server outage interrupted the automated test runs at the end of September. Anything built since then is marked "In progress" here until it has been checked in the running game. The full day-by-day diary is available in German.

  1. Naumburg as a playable region Playable

The tram town on the Saale with historic cars such as no. 38, visible catenary, bus operations and the main station as an interchange.

  2. Transfers at the city bus stop Playable

Passengers visibly change between bays and use protected crossings to do so.

  3. Road editor as a construction kit In progress

Build whole streets from templates, set up junctions with right of way and traffic lights, and rework existing streets. The latest steps have not yet been checked in the running game.

  4. Where waiting passengers want to go In progress

A station overview shows where waiting passengers are heading, which line they take next and where they change.

  5. Day and night In progress

The map switches between day and night by the game clock, with lit stops and vehicle lights.

  6. Fast forward at 16× and 32× In progress

Two new simulation speeds for long observation runs; the map is hidden while the controls stay available.

  7. Naumburg demo In progress

Submitted as a separate Steam build with its own saves. Approval by Steam is still pending.
